DAMAC Lagoons brings water to an inland setting. The community is built around a series of lagoons edged with sandy beaches, and each neighbourhood takes its cue from a Mediterranean destination, from the Greek islands to the Italian Riviera.

Character
The original masterplan set out eight themed clusters, each with its own architectural mood and amenity focus. DAMAC has since added more, and its community page now lists neighbourhoods including Santorini, Venice, Portofino, Costa Brava, Nice, Malta, Marbella, Monte Carlo, Morocco, Mykonos, Ibiza and Sorrento. Homes are mainly townhouses and villas, with apartment buildings in later phases such as Lagoon Views.

Day to day
The lagoons are the centrepiece. DAMAC's plan includes a private beach, a wave pool, waterfalls, a floating amphitheatre, a clubhouse, restaurants and cafés, with landscaped walks between the clusters. Family life is the focus, and the neighbouring DAMAC Hills adds an established set of shops, schools and a golf course nearby.
