Rashid Yachts & Marina
Mina Rashid opened as Dubai's commercial port in 1972. In 2019 Emaar and P&O Marinas set out plans to turn part of it into a residential harbour, where apartments look across moored yachts and the open Gulf towards the Downtown skyline, a few minutes from the city's oldest neighbourhoods.

Character
The scale is deliberately modest. Buildings are low and mid rise, arranged around the marina, a palm lined canal and six interconnected district parks. The Queen Elizabeth 2 is permanently berthed here as a hotel of 13 decks, and the Hamdan bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal operates alongside, so the harbour keeps a working maritime character.

Day to day
Life is organised around the water. The marina is designed for yachts of up to 100 metres and includes a floating yacht club, while the masterplan adds a sandy beach, a canal pool, promenades and waterfront dining. A pedestrian bridge is planned to the historic House of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum, linking the new harbour with the heritage of the creek.

The community sits on the coast beside Bur Dubai, with Dubai Maritime City as its neighbouring peninsula. Emaar estimates around 15 minutes by car to Dubai International Airport and around 20 minutes to Downtown Dubai and Dubai Creek Harbour.
