Introduction
Karl Lagerfeld Villas is the fashion house's first residential villa project in the region and its fourth worldwide. Taraf, the boutique developer launched by Yas Holding in 2023, broke ground on 30 July 2025 on 51 villas facing lagoons in Meydan.
The design brief draws on Lagerfeld's Paris residence and his interest in the eighteenth century. For a buyer, the relevant facts are plot sizes from 721 to 1,790 square metres, five to seven bedrooms, and a brand whose contribution is design and furnishing rather than operation.

Form, light and landscape.
Taraf describes Parisian style architecture modelled on Karl Lagerfeld's residence at 21 Rue Saint Guillaume, with RSP Architects and Dar Al Handasah as design and engineering partners. Interiors use parquet and marble, statement staircases and custom KARL LAGERFELD MAISON furnishings, with gardens, water features, full length pools, feature windows and open atriums.
